About Bert

Maritime experience behind both the consultancy and MIP.

Born and raised in Rotterdam, I grew up around boats and went on to become a maritime officer and engineer.

My work has included vessel management, consultancy, purchase inspections, repairs, reactivations, reflagging, dry-dock preparation and project execution.

That work also showed me how much time can disappear into keeping financial administration together. That is why I started building MIP.
